Sara Evans has only had the one goal in her life that she has always had: she wants to compose and sing country music. "God placed me on the planet to become singing," said Evans, in a quote by John Meroney of American Enterprise. "It is what I enjoy doing most of all which is why I'm bound to achieve success." Additionally, Evans wanted to succeed by reverting to traditional country music that was brought to life by legends like Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones as well as Patty Loveless, musicians Evans believed to be her biggest sources of inspiration. Evans was born in 1970 made her debut in the latter part of 1990, as many aspiring country music singers turned to modern pop music. That is evident on her first album released in 1997, True Lies. True Lies was not a huge success, even though it was highly praised by critics and receiving a 1998 Academy of Country Music nomination for best female singer. Thus, for her follow-up album, 1998's No Place That Far, Evans bowed to producers, who persuaded the artist to expand her repertoire and eventually, she received the acceptance she'd sought since the age of her first. Sara Evans, born on the 5th of February, 1971 in Columbia Missouri she is a singer and songwriter from America. Sara Evans spent the early stages of her life alongside her family.
